James Hoey

James is married to Melody, and together they have the joy of raising two young boys. He serves as an Assistant Pastor at the 10:30 congregation at Holy Trinity Doncaster, helping people connect and become integrated into the life of the church.

James became a Christian when he grasped the depth of God's grace and love displayed in Jesus' words on the cross: "It is finished." Following a ministry apprenticeship in 2013–14, he studied at Moore Theological College and most recently served as Director of Partnerships with MTS.

James also serves as a Director of The Gospel Coalition Australia. He is passionate about helping people come to know Jesus and live in light of the gospel, and seeing lives transformed by God's grace.
